What you'll learn
- Recognising cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants.
- Chest compressions — rate, depth, hand position, and how long you can actually keep going.
- Rescue breathing technique and when to skip it (hands-only CPR).
- Using an AED safely, including on wet or hairy chests.
- The recovery position and post-resuscitation care.
- Team CPR — swapping in without breaking the compression rhythm.
Course length and cost
Roughly 3 hours from start to certificate. USD $95 per person for individuals. Businesses booking a team get a per-group rate — see Business training.
Certification
Issued through HSI and/or EFR, valid for 2 years, recognised worldwide.
